Announcing R&D partnership with NLP Technologies - to deliver automatic Translation Management System

Palomino System Innovations Inc. announces today it's partnership with NLP Technologies Inc. of Montreal, Quebec to engage in joint research and development for a multi-lingual web content management and document management system.
Based on their existing technologies, the two companies will develop an online service that integrates NLP’s DecisionExpress™ automatic translation and summarization technology with the award-winning WebPal CMS™ web content management system. The resulting software service will assist both NLP’s and Palomino’s clients with automated work flow for content translation and summarization and therefore provide added value to their existing technology platforms.

There will be added-value for both our clients who will benefit from a boost in translation turn-around, possibly at a much lower cost.”, says Markus Latzel, CEO of Palomino Inc. “This is a prime example of two Canadian innovators joining forces to provide a bigger-than-both-combined solution.”
Some work to integrate the two technologies via web services will be necessary and both companies are working on this. A release of the final solution is expected in early 2009. Clients of both companies will then be able to manage translation work flow of automatic and outsourced translation services right through their existing WebPal or DecisionExpress system.
