Tsotsos, Founder & Scientific AdvisorApart from being co-founder of Palomino and chair of the board of directors, John is currently Distinguished Research Professor of Vision Science in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at York University in Toronto and holds a Canadian Research Chair in Computational Vision. He was Director of York's Centre for Vision Research from 2000 - 2006. John is an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science and of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto, Fellow Emeritus of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and was a Visiting Scientist for IBM Canada's Centre for Advanced Studies from 1996 - 2003. John advises the Palomino team on latest research in intelligent systems and R&D collaboration opportunities. Evangelos E. Milios, Scientific AdvisorCurrently Associate Dean of Research in Computer Science at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Evangelos has made invaluable contributions to Palomino's ongoing R&D in the areas of content modeling and content mining. Evangelos' team has engaged in multiple sucessful joint R&D projects with Palomino and his degree of excellence in this field is unmatched in Canada. Evangelos received his MSc. and Ph.D. degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, after which he researched and taught at University of Toronto and York University before joining Dalhousie, where he now holds the Killam Chair of Computer Science.
